Current Ratings
TESTING - We test up to 500A in house, and can custom test as requested. An over-rated link can cause excessive heat rise. Some imported links might not withstand what they claim. We ensure our Brass Links are tested to exceed the rated current determined by heat rise documented in Australian Standards.
Quality & Conformance

PLATING -NETEC Products have high quality plating where ever required. This is the difference between a Pass or Fail. Under cost imported links being installed with low quality plating (eg. on terminal screws) are a risk of being rejected by inspectors. This was a recent issue with an importer of low quality items with severely corroded screws with a significant cost to replace.
PLASTIC -NETEC Plastic molded items use compliant plastic polymers. Imported covered links may arrive with the importer not knowing the grade and if it conforms. Ensure that the plastic is rated UL94-V0 for piece of mind. If in doubt, ask your supplier for the material data sheet.

Replacing a faulty item causes much grief. Don't get caught out with the low quality imported Terminals. Trying to save that small amount could cost you a whole lot more.
